Smartphone addiction is more prevalent and damaging than you realize. Seen in adolescents, the most at risk age group, are usage rates of 10 and 7.5 hours per day, between females and males respectively. This usage damages both their physical and mental health, primarily through sleep deterioration. While corrosive, this addiction will not stop, as there is necessity and complacency surrounding its use. So for now, we will continue to follow the dangerous call of smartphone overuse.
