Abstract

Research suggests that if you find yourself using your smartphone before bed, it’s likely that you have poor sleep. This is because using electronics before bed can be both physiologically and psychologically stimulating in ways that negatively affects your sleep. Despite this finding, approximately 85% of smartphone users check their phone within 1 hour of going to sleep (Bankmycell, 2019).
