Abstract

Shyness can negatively impact students' academic performance in various ways. Shy students find it harder to form friendships, and face differential treatment from teachers. These challenges often result in lower grades, especially for boys, due to cultural stereotypes. This paper emphasizes the importance of schools supporting shy students by fostering positive relationships, changing teacher perceptions, and creating a supportive learning environment
