Abstract

This is a short story about a former foster kid learning about his birth mother. 

Two peope with rainbow pants and flower heads sit on a checkered picnic blanket. They sit in the foreground; grass, a hill, mountains, a smiling Sun, and a rainbow are in the background. Under the rainbow, the journal title "Spectrum" and "Vol. 2" are written in large black text.
