Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has led to a surge in misinformation. Children may be especially sensitive to misinformation due to their developing multi-representational abilities, memory abilities, and formation of schemas. However, education can play a protective role by equipping children with the abilities and skills needed to combat the current infodemic.
