  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word or PDF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point non-serif font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.

Author Guidelines

Submissions are open to undergraduate and graduate students from Canadian universities. Submissions must be original, not having been published or submitted for consideration at any other journal. We accept research papers between 2,500 and 4,000 words and opinion pieces of 1,000 to 1,500 words. Poetry submissions must not exceed two pages. We welcome interdisciplinary submissions from all faculties.

Submissions should follow the Chicago Manual of Style 18th edition, Notes and Bibliography. They should be formatted in Times New Roman, size 12, double-spaced. Include a title page with the submission title, author names, affiliations, contact information, and a 150-word abstract/summary.

Each submission will undergo peer review, and authors may be asked to make revisions.

This journal operates on a double-blind review basis. This means that the reviewers do not know the identity of the author, and the author does not know the identity of the reviewers. The communication between journal and author is mediated by the Editorial Board Member in charge of the reviewing team and the Editor-in-Chief.
