Mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI) is a significant cause of morbidity and mortality, with many survivors of mTBI dealing with persisting post-concussion syndrome and long-term deficits post-injury. In this paper the literature pertaining to concussion and mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI) is presented along with it's neglect in the field of research.
