Résumé

Brain connectivity problems have been implicated in Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), alongside several other mental disorders. A recent neuroimaging study links disruptions within certain brain networks and cognitive, emotional and behavioural manifestations of MDD. It was found that negative self-perception and social isolation may be caused by brain connectivity impairments.
