About the Journal
The McMaster Journal of Disabilities (MJD) is an official open-access, peer-reviewed undergraduate journal, associated with McMaster University. The journal aims to advance current research and discussions surrounding disabilities, and to act as a platform for disability advocacy. In addition, the journal provides undergraduate students the unique opportunity to engage in disability-related topics, gain academic and professional experience, and obtain a greater understanding of the publication process. Issues are published bi-annually, and are composed of research, review, opinion, and policy analysis articles. The journal upholds rigorous standards to ensure credible, evidence-based material.
