CANINE IMMUNISATION: THE ONE HEALTH APPROACH TO RABIES CONTROL

Résumé

This op-ed will look at the use of canine immunisation as a method to control transmission of the rabies virus.  This will include previous and current recommendations from the WHO, and studies of canine immunisation conducted in Tanzania, India and Chad.  The op-ed findings underly the importance of an international one health approach to infectious disease control.
